Last year EXCOR made it to the second round of the jury, and this year we have been nominated again. We are talking about the Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses, which the Oskar Patzelt Foundation has been awarding once a year throughout Germany within the "Competence Network for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses" since 1995 in order to make the innovative power and creative potential of German small and medium-sized businesses more visible.
With the new ICB active ingredient mechanism Excor reached 2nd place at this year's Innovation Award of the district of Göttingen. Marketing Manager Björn Kniza accepted the prize on behalf of the entire Excor team: "We are delighted about this award. ICB sets a completely new standard in the field of corrosion protection and the 2nd place at the innovation award underlines this".
Trays ensure damage-free transport of components in the industrial packaging process. For metal parts, additional VCI corrosion protection is necessary. With the Layertray, EXCOR has now simplified this packaging process: the corrosion protection is directly integrated into the tray, which significantly simplifies and speeds up handling at the workplace. The Hessische/Niedersächsische Allgemeine (HNA) reports on EXCOR GmbH reaching the final round of the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses. Out of more than 4,500 companies nominated nationwide, 542 were selected by a jury for the final round. Excor was nominated by WRG Wirtschaftsförderung Region Göttingen GmbH for its special innovative strength at the Oskar Patzelt Foundation.
What if you could not only protect a metal packaged good from rust with an anti-corrosion film, but also save material at the same time? The trade journals neue verpackung and ChemieTechnik describe how this can be done with the new ICB film from EXCOR. Click here for the articles:
The trade press also picks up on EXCOR's trade fair appearance at automatica, the leading trade fair for intelligent automation and robotics. Since 1995, the Oskar Patzelt Foundation has awarded the Grand Prize of Medium-Sized Businesses once a year throughout Germany in order to make medium-sized businesses, their innovative power and creative potential more visible. The prize does not judge business management, innovations or jobs alone, but the company as a whole and in its role in society. The Göttingen Economic Development Corporation (WRG) nominated EXCOR (you can only be nominated by a third party). In the end, there will be three winners for each of the 13 competition regions, who can then claim to be among the best medium-sized companies in Germany. The decision will be made on 24 September.
From 21 to 24 June, EXCOR will be presenting itself at the automatica in Munich at stand B6.520 of the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry Association (bayme VBM). The innovative ICB film with its intelligent active ingredient mechanism and the sustainable VCI dispenser capsule Emibo Natur, which consists of 100 percent renewable raw materials, will be presented. In addition, the EXCOR Valeno Layertray, a process for true-to-contour lamination of load carriers with VCI film, will be presented. automatica is the world's leading marketplace for automated, intelligent production. It accompanies and shapes the transformation of industrial manufacturing - from automated to autonomous production.
